Rules:

To enter the contest, register and submit a costume photo to the CandidCostume.com website. The photo will be reviewed by a moderator, and if it meets the guidelines it will be placed on the site and automatically entered into the contest.

The winning photo will be determined by user ratings submitted prior to noon PST, October 31, 2012. The costume with the highest-average rating, with a minimum of 100 ratings, as of October 31, 2012 (noon PST) will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected at random from among the highest-rated entries.

CandidCostume.com reserves the right to void any ratings it deems fraudulent, and to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest. Entries may be disqualified if they contain materials trademarked, copyrighted, used or submitted elsewhere, or any obscene, defamatory or other offensive or inappropriate material. Decisions of CandidCostume.com are final.

By entering the contest, you give CandidCostume.com the right to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify your entry photo in any way, without limitation, and transfer to CandidCostume.com all right, title and interest in the entry photo, including without limitation, all copyrights. By entering you warrant and represent that you are the photographer of the submitted photo(s) and that you have obtained all permission necessary for CandidCostume.com to publish or use your photo in any media worldwide, including but not limited to permission from all persons depicted in your photo and from any holder of copyrights, trademarks or other rights in materials or other items depicted in your photo.

Winner will be notified via the email address that was provided by the winner during the registration process. Winner will receive a $100 (USD) electronic gift certificate redeemable at Amazon.com.

Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of entries received. The winning photo will be disqualified from any future contests on CandidCostume.com.
